Sarah Devaney is organizing a team of people for “Serve Erie” that is taking place Sept 20-21. There are a variety of serving opportunities that include landscaping, construction projects, general maintenance projects (painting, cleaning, repairs, etc.), helping at a food/clothing pantry, and evangelizing through a car wash, block party, or homeless visits at encampments. They will be serving with three local churches and the local rescue mission to build and strengthen their relationships in the Erie community, the poorest area in PA. Their desire is to be available to the community and help them see the love of Christ through these projects, interactions, and the local churches. You can learn more about the event HERE.
